Margaret Irene Kordeleski (nee Fundak), age 81, of Amherst, Ohio passed away Friday, February 10, 2012 at New Life Hospice Residential Center.
Margaret was born in Lorain, Ohio on December 21, 1930 to Luke and Katherine (nee Tilosonec) Fundak and attended Lorain High School.
She worked at Baizley Meat Market in Lorain prior to getting married to John and shortly after their marriage was a full time homemaker.
Margaret was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Amherst and a former member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Lorain. She was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns and loved watching WWF Wrestling. She enjoyed her weekly bingo games.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John; sons, David, of Vermilion and John (Kathy), of Amherst; grandchildren, Heather (Shawn) Starr, Michael, Matthew and Annie Kordeleski; great-granchildren, Roman and Keira Starr.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Katherine Fundak; brothers, John and Steve Fundak and sister, Irene Leonard.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St. Joseph Drive, Amherst, Ohio. Rev. Fr. Lawrence Martello, Pastor, will officiate. Private inurnment will take place at a later time.
