John A. Dubosh, age 70, of Wellington, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at his home while under the care of New Life Hospice.
Born May 29, 1941 in Wilpen, Pennsylvania, he moved to Lorain with his parents in 1946. He graduated from Lorain High School in 1961. For the last 10 years, he resided in Wellington and prior to that he lived in Amherst for 25 years.
John enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served from 1959 – 1963.
He worked as a stationary engineer at the Lorain Ford Plant until it closed and then transferred to the Avon Lake Ford Plant. He had worked there for 30 years and retired in 2007.
He enjoyed trains, especially riding and traveling in them. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife.
John is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sharon (nee Perkins); his son, Joseph, of East Cleveland; his step-daughter, Leslie Graf, of Columbus and a sister, Ann Dubosh, of North Ridgeville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Julia (nee Topeka) Dubosh; his brother, Charles Dubosh, and his sisters, Irene Varady and Mary Jane Varady.
The Dubosh Family invites friends to join them for a memorial gathering at their home on Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 1-6 p.m..
