Jeffery L. Brumley, 64, of Elyria, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain, following a short illness.
Born Dec. 31, 1947 in Toledo, he lived in Utah before settling in Elyria 33 years ago.
Jeff worked as a mechanic in the maintenance department of the Lorain County Metro Parks for 23 years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, playing card, the outdoors, and tinkering. He especially loved cats.
Surviving is his brother, Frank (Kristine) Brumley of Lorain; nieces, Leanne (nee Brumley) Scholle of Baltimore, Maryland, and Nikki (nee Brumley) Hensley of Lorain; and a great niece and 4 great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brankley Lee and Helen (nee Streight) Brumley.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until the time of services at 8:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Jim Smucker, Chaplain of Mercy Regional Medical Center, will officiate.
