Carole J. Galvan (nee Visniski), age 67, died at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph.
She was born on March 13, 1944 to the late Stanley and Theresa Visniski. She graduated from Elyria Catholic High School.
Carole furthered her education by attending nursing school and received her RN license. For many years, she worked at Elyria Memorial Hospital in the pediatric department.
She enjoyed crocheting and loved taking care of her dogs.
She is survived by her son, Brian (Mindy) Visniski, of Elyria; her granddaughter, Ashlee Visniski; and her step-sons, Harry B., Jr., Bob (Cathy) and John, all of Lorain; step-daughters, Barb Galvan, Bernice Galvan, Faith Kuhn and Angela Marie Frye, all of Lorain; step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and her beloved dogs, Maggie Mae, Cody and Butch.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry on January 23, 2011.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
The Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst, handled the arrangements.
