Roberta was a lovely lady. Her close friend, Virgina Dorwart, would speak highly of her during our working years together. They had sung in the choir at Peace Lutheran Church. I became acquainted with Roberta thru the Democratic functions and thru Peace Lutheran. She was always willing to help. I delivered the sunday service cd's to Roberta, in which we would have conversations that would lead us to know each other on a personnel level. A good life Roberta had!

Roberta was my secretary when I became pastor of Peace Lutheran Church and she served as a faithful and loyal secretary for 6 years. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and she was a most assuming and empathic co-worker in the Lord. She was so committed to her role in helping to lessen illiteracy in our area. I am convinced that the Lord welcomed her with the words of scripture -"Well done good and faithful servant." Pastor Richard Beal

Mrs. Farley...that is how I knew her...was always so nice to me. Even when I had not seen her for years she remembered me when our paths would cross. I met her many, many years ago through her son Steve.
