Roy was a hero to me. He was like an older brother when we grew up. When his father passed away, his Mom (my Aunt Lizzie - I'm so sorry you never got to meet her - she was an absolute delight) and Roy became like an extension to our family - we did everything together. I admired him so much for the person he became - a good family man who loved his wife & children so much. I

Uncle Roy will without a doubt be missed. He loved his family and would do anything for anyone. I remember the day Uncle Roy came to our rescue my mom was picking my sister and I up from school when we got a flat tire in the parking lot and was stranded. Without hesitation he jump into his vehicle and took the tire to the nearest place to get it plugged so that we could get home. He was just

I am so sorry for your loss. May God be with the family to help them deal with the loss.
Come to me
God saw that you were getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put His arms around you and whispered, "Come to me." You didn't deserve what you went thru and so He gave you rest. God's Garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best.

Go to God
by Grace E. Easley

When a friend is feeling sorrow
That you wish that you could share,
And no words of any language
Can remove the grief they bear,
When the unexpected shadows
Fall across the path they trod,
There is no human remedy,
When a brave heart's torn asunder,
And it's courage seems too small
There is no solace found in pain
That overtakes us all.
When hot tears keep on falling
'Til they drench the very sod,
To find someone to dry them,
There's a reason for each heartache,
Though we

I rember meeting Roy and Norma while I worked as a cashier at Certified gas station on Lowell St. He always came in with a smile on his face and made my day a little bit brighter. Norma also came in with a smile and talked to my mom Karen Elder who lost my dad to cancer. I remember Norma going to nursing school and how proud Roy was that she was becoming a nurse. My thoughts and prayers are
